The park contains 250 acres of gardens, open fields, woodlands, ponds, picnic areas, sports facilities, and other attractions.
In our 25 acres of themed gardens you will encounter a variety of plant materials, design styles, structures and statuary.
Choose from gardens that feature ponds, fountains, unique gazebos, and our famous Moon Bridge.

Gardens inspired by England, Italy, and the Orient are among the eight ornamental enclaves amid these 250 green acres. The playground and nature center attract youngsters, while the picnic tables and grills offer the perfect pit stops for any age. Plus aviary, bird sanctuary, tennis and volleyball courts, software diamonds, hiking and biking trails, and 18-hole disc-golf course.

Wickham Park is honored to be the host location for some terrific events that will welcome
visitors from all over New England and beyond. Of particular note are the Greater Hartford Disc Golf Open (GHDGO)
and the Wickham Invitational high school cross country meet.
